Job Title: Kitchen Staff

Location: The Cafe at Kirkleatham Museum

Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week with flexibility to work special events out of normal working hours

Pay: Pay rate will be discussed based on experience and qualifications

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Kitchen Staff at the Cafe at Kirkleatham Museum.

As part of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our visitors.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Prepare and cook a variety of delicious dishes in accordance with cafe menus and recipes

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables/salads, preparing sauces, and baking goods

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces

• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff and cafe team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

• Flexibility to work special events outside of regular working hours, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for special events

• Food hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential

• Previous experience in baking and cooking preferred
